“My wife and I and another couple had a 12:30 reservation for a tour, wine tasting and lunch. I booked the lunch three months in advance as the winery was highly recommended. After a short delay at check in because they couldn’t locate my reservation we had a tour via golf cart. Sam was an American college student working for the summer. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the vineyard and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Next we enjoyed a sample of some sparkling wine and were taken to our table under the grape vines. “Transportation is efficient and friendly. The hosts at the winery are do knowledgeable and friendly. We sampled five wines and a grappa, officially, with lovely, freshly-prepared food, but had the option of sampling two additional wines, and could even have enjoyed more. We had an interesting and entertaining tour of the vineyard from Giovanni, and Giusy and he were so attentive at our table. All wines are delicious, and all organically produced. This was our second visit within the year, and I'd more than happily go back in the very near future, (I'd happily go once a week if truth be told...just a shame that the vineyard isn't just around…”

She went above and beyond the night before and communicated with me on how to buy entry tickets online so I didn't need to stand in line the next day. The feeling on standing on that historic site and seeing that lost city was amazing. The Casasetaro Winery was somewhat of a disappointment. “We do not recommand this tour at all. The experience at the vineyard was good and so were the wine and lunch. So nothing bad to say about the winery itself. However I recommand that you simply book a taxi and go visit the vineyard by yourself since the service offered by the provider was poor. Basically, the pick-up location was not the right one and instruction were not accurate. Had a tough time reaching the company. When they finaly answered, they only act as a taxi, sending someone to pick us up. It is very expensive for a bad taxi service.”

“Pasquale picked us up promptly at our hotel. He was a wonderful driver with a very nice van, very clean. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He dropped us off at each tour that he booked for us, explained exactly what we were doing and what time he would pick us up. He made us feel very safe and well taken care of.
